The new Parabolix range of rods provides serious anglers with an option for every situation, due to the unique anti-lock action. This action is created using carefully selected grades of high modulus carbon and f-glass material, carefully woven together during the manufacturing process to produce a blank with huge reserves of power. This allows the rods to have ultra sensitive tips with the power to weight ratio progressing in tiny amounts along the blank as you bend into it. The blank continues to bend, but will never lock, right down to the butt section. This puts an ever increasing amount of pressure on the fish ‘no matter how big’ acting like a spring, it also makes the blank ‘virtually unbreakable’ when playing fish. This unique use of materials has also enabled us to produce ultra slim blanks, without compromising the action. This latest technology makes the Parabolix perfect for every kind of fishing. From playing skimmer bream on light hook lengths to double figure carp, the Parbolix range handles it with ease.
The 13ft Medium Power Float typifies the subtlety and finesse of the range. This rod is extremely light and slim, whilst still being crisp and extremely responsive. It is equally at home handling waggler caught silvers right up to medium sized carp on commercials. Take it to your local river venue and it will handle both stick and waggler work.
As its name suggests, the 13ft Power Float is perfect for casting bigger floats and handling bigger fish, and the 15ft and 16/18ft Float rods offer well balanced extra reach and line control, ideal when trotting down long runs on big rivers. In fact, when field testing the 16/18ft; we managed to land carp and barbel in to double figures with ease. Rest assured that this range of float rods is capable of handing anything that swims.
At the other the end of the scale, the 12/13ft Power Feeder is smooth, but with immense power for chucking feeders to the horizon and will handle hard fighting carp, barbel and other big fish with ease.
The versatility of the Parabolix range is perfectly demonstrated by the 11/12/13ft Feeder System. The three butts, two middle and carrier sections, and four tips supplied with this rod mean that a multitude of situations can be covered, and actually 2 rods set up at once. At 11ft and with the lightest tip this rod is perfectly suited to the lightest of rigs and shiest biting roach and skimmers. At the same length but with a slightly stiffer tip the rod converts into a fantastic bomb and feeder rod for small carp and F1s and skimmers. At 12ft this is a versatile feeder and bomb rod ideal for bream and small to medium size carp, whilst the addition of the 13ft butt section enables feeders to be easily cast the required distance on bigger waters.
Complementing the range is the 10ft Bomb, 11ft and 12ft Feeder rods are light and beautifully balanced for everything from roach and skimmers through to proper bream and carp.
