Matchtek Rods
The new Matchtek rod range provides the serious commercial carp angler with an option for every situation, due to the unique anti-lock action. This action is created using carefully selected grades of high modulus carbon and f-glass material, carefully woven together during the manufacturing process to produce a black with huge reserves of power. This allows the rod to have ultra sensitive tips with the power to weight ratio progressing in tiny amounts along the blank as you bend into it.
The new Matchtek range of rods offers 2 piece and three piece rods which are suited for today’s commercial fisheries. The tend over the last couple of years are for shorter rods, which have been designed not only to be capable of landing carp quickly, but can be transported around ‘ready made up’ with ease. All our Matchtek rods are supplied in padded rods sleeves and two neoprene rod wraps making transportation to you peg easy.
